Our Eye Doctors

Dr. Alyssa E. Markowitz is proud to call Toronto home. She received her Bachelor of Engineering Science at the University of Western Ontario, and then continued her studies with a Master of Engineering at Queen's University. After working for a number of years in the nuclear industry she decided to return to school and completed her Doctor of Optometry, at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.

At SCO, Dr. Markowitz completed an extensive training program in primary eye care, ocular disease, contact lens management and general optometry. The enlarged scope of practice for optometrists in Tennessee has allowed Dr. Markowitz to gain experience in managing and diagnosing conditions such as cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma, corneal, retinal and optic nerve pathology, uveitis, as well as ocular complications associated with diabetes, hypertension and other systemic conditions. She is also certified in topical and oral therapeutic agents

OPTICAL MANAGER

Rebecca Tran is a licensed optician with the College of Opticians of Ontario. She graduated with diploma in Ophthalmic and Contact lens from B.C. College of Optometry. Rebecca ensures that patients are selecting the right frame that best suits their facial features after analyzing and interpreting patient's prescription to determine the right needs. Her experience in product knowledge and customer services will deliver professional care to your eye needs
